What if we told you that Dr. Schneweis has over 6 years of education specializing in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of hearing and balance disorders.  To be certified she also had to complete an internship, pass a national competency examination and obtain professional certification and licensure in the state(s) where she practices.  

But; what if we also told you that various states (Missouri included) don't require this education?  It's the world we live in and with all the changes over the past few years regarding hearing aids and over the counter (OTC) hearing aids, the patient (you), need to know there is a difference so you can do what is best for YOU.

At the end of the day we want our patients to be educated so their expectations will be realistic through the power of knowledge.
